Everything you need to deliver
compliance as a service

The SafetyCert Service Provider programme is designed specifically for MEP contractors who want to add measurable value for their clients and build a predictable recurring income alongside their core work.

Recurring Revenue Stream

Charge your clients a managed service fee for ongoing compliance management and generate predictable, recurring income alongside your project and maintenance work. Annual renewals mean the revenue keeps coming without additional sales effort.

Deeper Client Relationships

When you manage a client's compliance platform, you become embedded in their operations. SafetyCert puts you at the centre of their safety documentation, making you far more than just a contractor - you become a trusted compliance partner.

Competitive Differentiation

Not all MEP contractors offer a managed compliance platform. Offering SafetyCert as part of your service package gives you a clear, tangible point of difference when tendering for new business or retaining existing clients.

Single Dashboard for All Clients

Manage every client organisation from one Service Provider dashboard. See compliance status, upcoming expirations and outstanding actions across your entire portfolio without logging in and out of separate accounts.

Your Logo on Client Documents

Upload your company logo and switch on branding override, and your logo replaces your client's on every certificate and report produced for them - audit reports, PAT certificates and asset reports, circuit, fire and security charts and distribution diagrams - so the documents they share carry your name.

Trade Pricing on Customer Licences

Supply your customers' SafetyCert licences at a 20% trade discount on the base licence and additional sites, buildings and admin users. You decide what, if any, of that discount to pass on, and add your own managed compliance service - setup, configuration, account management and support - on top. SafetyCert never sells direct into your client base.

Your interim inspections,
filed into every client's account

If you carry out interim inspections with InterimReport, connect each customer to the matching InterimReport client and every locked report is filed against the right building in their SafetyCert account - with its PDF, defects and next inspection date.

One Connection per Customer

From your Service Dashboard, link each customer to one of your InterimReport clients - with matching names suggested for you - then match their buildings to the client's properties. Set the features once and apply them to every customer in one click.

Your Customer Stays in Control

Each customer decides what their provider may do in their account: accept reports, let defects raise compliance issues and alerts, and share their certificate dates and building details. A customer with its own InterimReport connection keeps it.

Across Your Whole Portfolio

Interim defects, overdue inspections and upcoming due dates appear on your Master Dashboard and Master Calendar alongside every other compliance item, and filed reports are listed in the Master Certificate Repository - for every customer you manage.

Up and running in four steps

Becoming a SafetyCert Service Provider is straightforward. We handle onboarding, and you're in control from day one.

1

Apply & get approved

Submit a demo request and let us know you're interested in the Service Provider programme. We'll get in touch to confirm your eligibility and walk you through the platform. Approval is typically granted within two business days.

2

Activate your SP licence

Once approved, you'll receive your Service Provider account. Your base licence covers up to 250 managed customer organisations. Add customer packs at £600 each for every additional 100 clients you want to onboard.

3

Onboard your clients

Invite each client from Customers with their organisation name and a contact email. They receive an access request, and one of their administrators signs in, reviews exactly what you'll be able to do and approves - nothing is linked until they do. You then choose which of your team can manage them, and can set up their sites, buildings and systems or let them self-serve.

4

Manage, report & grow

Monitor compliance across all clients from your Master Dashboard, Calendar and Certificate Repository, filtered by customer whenever you need to focus. Schedule PAT sessions, track certificate expiry dates, log maintenance and generate reports - all in one place. As your client base grows, simply add more customer packs.

Transparent, scalable pricing

One base platform fee covers your entire practice. Pay only for the customer capacity you need, and expand as you grow.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be an NICEIC or NAPIT-approved contractor to become a Service Provider?
No - there is no requirement to hold a specific scheme membership to become a SafetyCert Service Provider. The programme is open to any MEP contractor or compliance management organisation that provides safety certification services to clients. We do recommend that any certification or testing work carried out through the platform is performed by suitably qualified individuals, in line with the relevant standards.
How does Service Provider pricing work?
You buy each customer's SafetyCert licence at the trade price - 20% below the published direct price on the base licence and additional sites, buildings and admin users. You then decide what your customer pays, including what, if any, of that discount to pass on, alongside your fees for the managed compliance service you provide: setup and configuration, ongoing account management, compliance reporting and day-to-day support. SafetyCert does not sell direct to your managed customers - we will always refer any enquiry from a client of a Service Provider back to their SP.
What happens if I want to add more than 250 clients?
Your base SP licence includes capacity for up to 250 managed customer organisations. If you need more, simply add customer packs at £600 per pack, each of which adds capacity for a further 100 clients. There is no upper limit on how many packs you can hold, so the platform scales with your business.
Can I file my InterimReport inspections into my customers' accounts?
Yes, at no extra cost if your organisation holds an InterimReport licence. In Service Dashboard › Settings › InterimReport, choose which of your InterimReport clients each customer's reports come from, then match their buildings to the client's properties. Locked reports are then filed against the right building in the customer's account, with a PDF copy, defects raised as compliance issues and next inspection dates in their calendar. Each customer can limit what you may do from their own settings - accept reports, let defects raise issues and alerts, and share certificate dates - and a customer who has connected their own InterimReport account keeps it.
How does connecting a client work?
  1. Invite. From Customers in your SafetyCert account, enter the client's organisation name and a contact name and email, with an optional reference and personal message. Pending invitations count towards your customer capacity.
  2. Access request. Your contact receives an access request email from you. The link is valid for 7 days, and you can resend it at any time.
  3. Sign in. Your client signs in with their Construct Software ID and their SafetyCert customer account. Only an administrator of their organisation can respond - anyone else is asked to pass it on. Administrators can also respond later under Settings → Service Providers.
  4. Review & approve. Before approving, they see exactly what you'll be able to do: see and manage their sites, buildings, systems, certificates, documents and records, and change most of their account settings. Nothing is linked until they approve. If they decline, you're told by email.
  5. Start managing. The client appears in your customer list and across your Master Dashboard, Calendar and Certificate Repository. Your administrators can manage every client, and you choose which of your other users can manage each one.
Does my client stay in control of their account?
Yes. A client can be connected to only one Service Provider at a time, and their administrators can remove your access at any time under Settings → Service Providers. Everything you do in their account is recorded in their audit trails, and they decide whether you may update their logo. If you remove a client from your customer list, their contact is told by email.
Can I put my own branding on client documents?
Yes. Upload your company logo in your Service Provider settings and switch on branding override, and your logo replaces your client's on every certificate and report produced for them - audit reports, PAT certificates and asset reports, circuit, fire and security charts and distribution diagrams. This applies whoever produces the document, including your client's own users and visitors to a public system dashboard. Your clients still sign in to SafetyCert, which keeps its own branding.
Can clients manage their own account, or do I control everything?
Both. Your clients always own their SafetyCert account and can manage it themselves, with their own administrators and users. Connecting to you simply gives your team access to manage it for them as well. You can run everything on their behalf, or they can handle the day-to-day work while you keep oversight from your Master Dashboard, Calendar and Certificate Repository - whatever you agree between you.
Is there a minimum commitment or contract length?
SafetyCert licences are billed annually. There is no minimum number of clients you must onboard, and you can start with the base SP licence and grow at your own pace. We do not require long-term contracts beyond the annual billing cycle.
